Dobby’s Frontier Town is inviting everyone to take part in the celebration at their annual Fall Festival this weekend, Sept. 20-21.
Many fun activities are planned at Dobby’s Frontier Town, including fast-draw competitions, live music and vendors. People are also invited to check out the new Livery Stable.
Cowboy Poet Jake Riley, this year’s featured speaker, will give a presentation both Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. People are encouraged to bring their law chairs for the event. Connie Rossi Rains, of the California Rodeo Salinas Cowboy Gathering, said of Riley, “From the very beginning of his show, to the very end, he had every one in the audience, young and old, mesmerized and totally engaged!”
Events will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Entry is free, though donations are appreciated as your support helps to keep the history alive at Dobby’s Frontier Town.
