Aubrey Garrett, daughter of Kurt and Michelle Garrett, is the recipient of the Unit 7 American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for 2020, presented by Teresa Nelson, Unit Children & Youth/Scholarship chairman. Garrett, a 2020 Alliance High School graduate, is enrolled at Chadron State College pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, vocal. She participates in as many musical and creative activities as possible to expand her overall experience, including instrumental music classes. Qualification for the scholarship includes Unit membership for at least three consecutive years immediately prior to application for the award.
