I was born in Washington D.C. and raised in the state of Maryland. I attended Linganore High School. I played baseball, basketball, and football growing up.
I moved to Florida when I was 22 years old and joined the US Army Reserves. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 during OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom). During deployment, I competed and placed second during the 143D ESC soldier of the year competition. After returning home from deployment in 2010, I moved to Nebraska.
I have lived in Nebraska for the past 10 years. I lived in Sidney, and Grand Island, NE before moving to Alliance. I completed my first 6 years of service with the Army Reserves in 2015. I earned an honorable discharge and later joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2017.
Since joining the Nebraska Army National Guard, I have spent a year mobilized to support the US Border during Operation Guardian Support and recently mobilized to Washington D.C. for the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. I currently serve as a military police officer with the 1057 MP Co. Serving as a military police officer and the support from my wife, three daughters, close friends and family is what had a major impact on me applying and joining civilian law enforcement. I moved to Alliance and joined the Alliance Police Department in 2019.
