I was born in Alamogordo, N.M., and raised in Alliance. I grew up playing every sport under the sun and graduated from Alliance High School in 2010. I continued my education at Midland University in Fremont, Neb. where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in History.
I earned an athletic scholarship to play tennis at Midland University to which I played Varsity all four years at 1 Doubles, 1 Singles, and 2 Singles positions. Following my graduation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was shipped off to boot camp located in San Diego CA in July of 2014.
I finished top of my graduating class as the Honor Graduate beating out 343 other Marines. Later down the road, I received orders to 1st Battalion 7th Marines 1st Marine Division, where I spent the rest of my career as a marine.
I was a field radio operator for the Scout Sniper Platoon in Weapons Company. Our call sign was “Stryder”. I was involved in Operation Inherent Resolve doing two tours, one in Iraq and the other in Kuwait. Upon being Honorably Discharged from the USMC, I returned to Alliance and became a Police Officer in 2018.
