The Alliance Girls Tennis team headed to Gering on April 26, where they competed against Gering and Scottsbluff in a Triangular hosted by Gering.
Alliance Varsity beat Gering Varsity three to two and lost to Scottsbluff Varsity six to two.
“I think the team played pretty well today. There is still some things we need to work on but we are definitely going in the right direction. There were a few matches I feel we could have won and with a little more time we will get there. I am very pleased with the way we are playing right now,” said Coach Scott Mills.
Alliance JV also played in the triangular beating Gering JV four to two and losing to Scottsbluff JV five to three.
“Our JV played really well yesterday also and we are seeing some great improvement. I am very proud of this entire team and the way they compete,” said Mills.
