Harriet Lorenzini, 94, passed peacefully Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Harriet, also known as “Tots” to the family, was born Mar 21, 1927 in Tryon, Nebraska. After marrying Americo Lorenzini, they moved to Alliance around 1955. She was active in the Methodist Church for many years and was known around the neighborhood from her frequent walks and friendly conversations. She had an open door policy and was ready to put the coffee on and slice the pie in a minute’s notice.
Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Americo, her oldest son, John, her youngest son Jim, her granddaughters, Lisa Penaluna and Brenna Nixon, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Nixon of Hemingford, her son, Bob(Carole) her grandchildren, Riley Nixon, Curt Nixon, Lance (Erin) Nixon, Tina (Brian) Clevenger, Toni (Will) Salie, Sean Pressler, Ryan Pressler and Erin Pressler and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Monday, October 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance with Reverend Russ Seger officiating. A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. at the Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
