Hemingford Suspending Non-Essential Services

To assist in limiting the spread of COVID-19 the Village of Hemingford will be suspending non-essential services beginning Monday March 30, 2020 until further notice. Please refer to the village website, ci.hemingford.ne.us and the Village of Hemingford Facebook page for updates.

Non-essential services include: the Hemingford Public Library, which will remain closed until further notice, Parks and Recreation services, non-emergency water, sewer, and electric services. The village office will remain closed to the public until further notice. There will be personal in the office to collect payments, answer questions, and provide essential updates and services during regular business hours. M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Utility billing: Payments are limited to on line at ci.hemingford.ne.us or the drop -off box located on the front of the Village Office building. Payments may also be made by credit card or debit card over the phone, 308-487-3465. If you need to stop or start any utility services please contact Barb Straub at 308-487-3465.

Utility Services: Services will be limited to emergency only response, during regular business hours please contact the village office and someone will address your needs as quickly as possible. Crew members will remain on call for after hour emergencies and can be reached by calling the Box Butte County Sheriff’s office at 308-762-6464 and they will contact the appropriate person on call.

Hemingford Public Library: The Library will remain closed until further notice and any books that are checked out will automatically be renewed.
