I use to help a rancher out once in awhile after work hours. If we needed some equipment pulled out of the weeds that evidently hadn’t been used in awhile we always had a little repair to do on it before it was ready for the task. I find the same problem had home on a smaller scale, our spare vehicle might get a low tire or a dead battery. Lot of things in life need a little tune up or repair before the task at hand. We also need some attention before the day starts out. It is always good to start out the day with Prayer. One of the best repairs that we can give ourselves is during the day when we are in that kanundram about me being in charge or me having my own way that is the time to Pray to God to help me with this sin that has a stranglehold on me and help me to overcome. Repair me Lord so that I can enjoy that peace that I know you will give me. God is in the repair business because that equipment that you and I have [Self} is not up to the task at hand. We need Him to fill us with love, forgiveness, and understanding, and He loves to do it. He does not look down on us for our defects but lovingly repairs us on our journey all because He love us and in the journey gives us joy in serving others.
