Jessen Farms is pleased to announce it has awarded $2,500
scholarships to four members of the 2022 graduating class of Alliance High School. The scholarship winners are:
• Emma Wood, the daughter of Aaron and Bridget Wood, who plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha and earn a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. After graduation, Emma is planning to teach art or English while continuing to study online and earn a master’s degree in school counseling.
• Amauri Browning, the daughter of Keegan and Jessica Kaiser, who will attend Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas where she will be a member of the volleyball team. After two years at Highland, she will transfer to a university where she will study ultrasound technology.
• Lilly Wagner, the daughter of Shauna Dye, who will study at Western Nebraska Community College and a university in Amarillo on the road to earning a degree in nuclear medicine.
• Emma Brownlow, the daughter of Shawna Stundage and Randy Brownlow, who will pursue a degree in Rangeland Management at Western Nebraska Community College and Chadron State College. Emma will be working towards a career with either the US Department of Agriculture or the Fish and Game Department.
Each year, Jessen Farms, a family farming corporation operating in Box Butte County, offers up to four $2,500 scholarships to seniors graduating from Alliance High School. This need-based scholarship was established in 2018.
