Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Adams (Tasso) passed away at her home in Eddyville, NE on Saturday December 4th 2021 at age 54 surrounded by her husband, daughters, and sister.
She was born on May 20th, 1967 in Alliance, NE to Barbara Jean Tasso and Gilbert Tasso. She was the youngest of three after Sandra (Sandy) and William Russell (Rusty). She attended Saint Agnes Academy before graduating from Alliance High School where she met Shannon Fickel. Together they had two daughters named Shae Dalaney and Chelsie Lee.
In 2009 she met Michael Adams in Grand Island, NE whom she married on July 23, 2014 and later settled in Eddyville, Ne. She loved to cook, bake, and play with her dog Skeeter. She was a very fun and animated person, with a beautifully contagious smile and humor that would put a smile on anyone’s face.
On September 9th, 2021 she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She decided chemotherapy wasn’t for her and wanted to spend her time with family. She is survived in death by her husband Michael Adams, her two children Shae (Christopher) Finkey, Chelsie Tasso (Levi Hoagland fiancé), step daughter Whitney (Chris) Haupt, sister Sandra (Daniel) Perkins, and brother Rusty (Christie) Tasso. And also her grandchildren Kail, Gage, Hailey, Marley and Mila along with her nieces and nephews Jake, Jordan, Jeremy Perkins and Kylie and Eric Tasso.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Barbara Tasso, her aunt Pat, grandfather Richard, and great grandmother Doris.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance. Reverend Gary Belk will officiate. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
