Kimber Kay Romick, 16, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Alliance.
She was born on February 2, 2005 in Scottsbluff, NE to Christopher and Leslie (Trout) Romick. Kimber was a junior at Alliance High School.
Kimber was an officer in FFA and a State qualifier in Livestock Judging. She was very fond of animal, especially her pet bunny Timothy. She also enjoyed showing 4H goats and turtles held a special place in Kimber’s heart. She was former Softball player that played left field and was the wrestling manager at the high school. Kimber was a gracious social butterfly who enjoyed being with friends and family. She had fun working at Carters and also spent a lot of time helping at a local ranch. She loved to do road trips with friends and family and enjoyed being the driver. She loved star gazing and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being at the lake and her favorite dessert was banana cream pie. She had fun hanging out with her Dad in the garage working on vehicles and shopping with Mom. Kimber was a member and avid participant in the Alliance Berean Church
Kimber is survived by her parents, Chris and Leslie Romick, her brother, Bret Schwaderer and his fiancé, Rylee Murphy of Omaha, NE and her sister, Kristen Romick of Hemingford. She is also survived by her grandparents, Howard and Norma Romick along with numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her grandparents, Donna Trout and Ira Trout preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be Thursday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Alliance Berean Church with Pastor Glenn Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
