The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Scottsbluff to take on the #5 power point team in Class B. The Bulldogs would continue with the bad luck as the bench was hampered not only with the recent injuries but also illness. Several young ladies came off the bench and gave gutty performances. The Bulldogs would show their capabilities early on. The Bulldogs would lead after the first period of play 14-12. Alliance did a nice job handling the zone pressure Scottsbluff applied. The second quarter the Bearcats would turn to man pressure and the Bulldogs could not match the energy. The Bearcats would pull away and win decisively 81-33.
The Bulldogs would get a rounded offensive performance. Cameron Tritle and Olivia Knapp would each contribute 7 points with 6 points coming from Shelbee Burke and Angie Davis. Olivia Knapp showing, she is starting to contribute after an injury had forced her to the sideline for most of the early season. Jordan Hopp would lead the rebounding department with 8 followed closely by Shelbee Burkes’ 7 boards. The Bulldogs would only manage 27% shooting from the field and would commit 33 turnovers. Two stats that have haunted the Bulldogs all year.
