Chadron, Hyannis, St. Agnes, and Alliance Middle School took part in a track quad meet Tuesday at Bulldog Stadium. No team scores were complied. The Lady Bulldogs brought home 3 gold medals in the seventh grade division. Winning the pole vault was Nyah Montes while taking home first in the 100 was Nyah Ramirez and finishing first in the discus was Jailee Jurado. AMS was second in three events for the 8th graders. Silver medal performances came in the 400 relay, in the 400 by Alexie Solis, and in the 100 hurdles by Myleigh Simmons. 400 relay membes: Solis, Simmons, Brinlee Lanik, and Amilya Lopez.
Seventh grade Dixon Bair was top performer for AMS. Bair won both the 100 and 400 while the Dogs captured first in both the 400 and 1600 relays. The 4 X 100 relay team had a time of 52.3 and consisted of Bair, Matt Bloyd, Ascehn Fries, and Mykey Valdovinos. In the mile relay, the Bulldogs posted a time of 4:48 and its members were: Bloyd, Fries, Mason Rebillet, and Travis Kaiser-Pfannenstiel. AMS was also solid in the 8th grade competition, winning nine events. First place winners were: Eddie Red Nest in the 100, Wyatt Barthel Hardy in the 200, Casyn Nelson in the 400, Xander Narjes in both the 110 and 200 hurdles, Kyler Hamel in the triple jump, Barthel Hardy in the long jump, and the 400 and mile relays.
