The Lady Bulldogs played in Sidney Saturday, Dec. 21 falling 54-26. The Bulldogs would show great effort taking on the preseason rated Raiders. The Bulldogs would get down early but refused to go away throughout the night. The Bulldogs would again be hampered by a low shooting percentage only managing 26% from the field. The Bulldogs would get to the line 21 times but could only manage 43%. The Bulldogs would, for the second night in a row commit 27 turnovers. The Raiders brought more pressure than the night before so to again be under the season average for turnovers showed improvement. A late 7-0 run by the Raiders would widen the margin of victory for the home team.
Payton Weber would lead the Bulldogs with 7 points and 7 rebounds. Angie Davis would add 6 points as she leads the team in scoring through 7 games with a 7.7 points per game clip. Cameron Tritle would add 6 points and 4 rebounds as she played the most consistent basketball, over the weekend, of her varsity career. Jordan Hopp would add 5 rebounds leading the team at 8.3 per game and a team high 3 steals on the night.
They return to the floor Dec. 30 for Holiday Tournament action against unbeaten Pine Bluffs.
