Coach Mark Glesinger said, “Scoring a combined 351 points at the conference meet was fun to watch!! By far the most combined points we have ever had! The girls used their depth to overtake Hay Springs who had 4 very talented athletes. On the boy’s side it was the same as last year, a dual between us and Hemingford. They would score big in an event and we would answer right back with a bunch of points in another event. Scoring 188 points usually wins a lot of meets so the coaches are happy with that. The girls have won seven conference titles in the last 17 opportunities while the boys have 6. Great Job to all!”
The season concludes Saturday in Gering.
