LaVerne Kolodziej, 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at her home in Alliance with her family by her side.
She was born on August 17, 1957 in Los Angeles, California to Donald and LaVerne (Erodnansky) Kolodziej. She has been a resident of Alliance for the past 18 years. While in Alliance she has been working for McDonald’s Restaurant and Maverick.
She is survived by her children, Garry (Emily) Connelly of Alliance, Christopher (Kim) Connelly of Fergus Falls, MN, Shurron Whitner, Daryl (Jamie) Craig and Terry (Dakota) Craig all of Alliance along with her 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, LaVerne of Las Vegas, her brothers and sister, Curtis Wesner, Cindy Wesner, Paul Wesner Andy Wesner and Walter Kolodzieg. She was preceded in death by her father, her step-father, Ralph Wesner and a sister, Celeste, her daughters, Leslie and Christina.
Memorial services will be Friday, November 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel with Father Matt Koperski officiating. Memorials may be given in care of the family.
