The NE Chamber Foundation is proud to announce that Hannah Robinson, Executive Director of Box Butte Development Corporation (BBDC) in Alliance, has been named to Leadership Nebraska Class XVII. This highly selective statewide program aims to develop, connect, and inspire Nebraska’s top leaders.
Robinson has led BBDC since 2024, focusing on vital economic development areas including housing, workforce, entrepreneurism, and childcare. A proud Alliance native, she brings a robust background in marketing, business development, and community engagement from previous roles in Laramie, Wyoming, Kearney, and Los Angeles. These experiences honed her skills in proposal strategy, communications, and stakeholder collaboration, which she now applies to benefit rural Nebraska.
Hannah is deeply involved in local initiatives to address critical economic development challenges. She spearheads BBDC’s Rural Workforce Housing Fund and the Communities for Kids initiative, which significantly reduced Box Butte County’s childcare gap by nearly 65%. She also serves on the board of directors for the Alliance Recreation Center.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wyoming. In her free time, she enjoys happy hour, traveling, tackling home projects with her husband Clint, and walking her Boston Terrier and French Bulldog.
Leadership Nebraska, presented by Medica, was established in 2006 to develop and connect leaders who are passionate about the future of Nebraska. The seven-month program gives participants the opportunity to explore key issues across the state, including workforce and economic development, agriculture, education, healthcare, and government.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Hannah and the rest of Class XVII,” said Todd Bingham, President of the NE Chamber. “These leaders are already making a difference in their communities, and the Leadership Nebraska experience will give them new perspectives, deeper connections, and even greater impact in the years ahead.”
