Linda Louise Price, 76, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE.
She was born on March 18, 1946 in Scottsbluff to Louie and Marie (Meyers) Green. Linda was raised and attended school in Scottsbluff later settling in Alliance. Linda worked at Electric Hose & Rubber / Dayco until her retirement. Mom was a huge Elvis Presley fan and saw him in concert multiple times. In her free time, she was an avid bowler and was on a league for many years. After retirement, mom enjoyed playing bingo with her friends, quilting and still bowling occasionally.
On April 16, 1963 she was united in marriage to Ellis Mittan in Torrington, WY. There were four children born to this union. They later divorced. Linda met Dennis Price and they were united in marriage on August 10, 1988 in Rupert, ID. They remained together until his passing in 2014.
Linda is survived by her children, Theresa (David) Broeker of Gering, John Mittan of Alliance, Gary Mittan (Jamie) of Great Falls, MT and Loretta (Phillip) Hartzer of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her sisters Sandra Kling of Alliance and Vera Kuhlman of Gering.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Grace Green, and her sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Carroll Mathews.
Memorial services will be Thursday, March 31, at 10:00 am at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Pastor Tim Stadem will officiate. Private family burial will be in the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Alliance Eagles Club.
