Making APL a Community Learning Center

Over the last few weeks at the library we have been able to enjoy some of the talents of those in our community. This week we have the privilege of having Dave Ocken reading books to the children at Storytime, who is one of the best I have ever worked with in relating to children. Last week we had Kari Bargen and Kathy Worley here from KAB presenting us with not only their talents, but also a backpack full of items for the kids to check out on recycling. We also have had/will have the music and art talents of Hannah McNitt and Kathy Brock shared. The library and its patrons are lucky to have such resources right here in our own community. I am always amazed at all the wonderful things volunteers share with us here.

Do you have a talent or skill you would like to share with others? If so, please do not hesitate to call the library and tell us what ideas you have in making the library a community learning center. We would love to feature you in our programming if you are willing to share your gift!
