Marty Robb passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 75.
Martha K Meroney was born September 20, 1947 in Olney Texas to James P. Sr and Juanita
(Thompson) Meroney. She was the last of four children. She moved to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming at the age of eight to live with her dad and siblings.
Following her death of her father, she moved to Canyon City Colorado with her stepmother. She
graduated from high school in Canyon City. After graduation, she enrolled in North Platte Beauty Academy. She went on a blind date with Richard Robb and they were married four months later on December 27, 1967 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in North Platte NE. They welcomed three children, Greg, and then twenty-three months later, twins Gretchen and Bart. The family moved to Alliance in 1972. She worked at the Magic Mirror for forty-three years.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, her children, Greg (Tessie) of Douglasville GA, Gretchen (Michael] Ritterling of Greenwood NE; Bart (Tanya) of Omaha NE, her grandchildren, Grant and Connor Robb; Colin, Evan and Alexis Robb; her brother, James P (Millie) Meroney II; her sister, Nancy Shimer, her sister-in-law, Sandy Meroney, her brother in law, Jerry Toman; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, in laws Philip and Grace Robb; brother William Meroney, sister in law Phyllis Toman and nephew James P Meroney III
Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 12, 2023 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Matt Koperski as celebrant. A wake service will be Thursday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Her wish was to be cremated and interment will be in Wallace, Nebraska, at a later date.
Memorial may be sent to Saint Agnes Academy Foundation and Wallace Alumni Scholarship Foundation.
