Mary “Frieda” Bowman, 91 years of age, died on Sunday, Dec 21, 2025, at Kinship Pointe, Wayne, NE. Funeral services will be at Messiah Lutheran Church, Broadwater, NE. On Jan 3, 2026. An 11:00 service with lunch and visitation to follow. Memorial funds may be directed to Bowman Family for later designation.
Frieda is survived by her daughter, Danita (Warren) Hanson, Concord, Ne., two sons, Mark (Teresa) Bowman, Alliance, Ne., and Doug (Shelli) Bowman Bridgeport, Ne. 4 grandchildren, 8 Great grandchildren, and 2 Great great grandchildren.
She was a long time resident of Alliance and Morrill Co, and Bridgeport, Ne, before moving to Wayne, NE. She was a teacher in numerous rural schools around the Alliance area and had a preschool in Bridgeport.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Juanita Hashagen, husband, Donzel, and a brother, Dee Hashagen.
