At the monthly meeting on July 1, the American Legion Post 7 Commander Bob Miller presented the prestigious Eagle Award to Legionnaire Larry McCracken. The Eagle Award is given by Legion Posts in recognition of extraordinary service by a Legionnaire. Retired First Sergeant McCracken has been a member of the Post for 40 years. He has directed the Honor Guard for 14 years and was formerly the District 4 Commander. He currently serves as the 1st Vice Commander for American Legion Post 7.
