Morrill County Earns Another Dividend from NIRMA Program

Morrill County has received a $8,760 dividend check through its participation in the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA) pooling program. The dividend was part of a $1,000,000 distribution shared with 95 eligible Nebraska counties and county- associated agencies who participate in the NIRMA II pool during NIRMA’s annual membership meeting on Oct. 24 in Kearney.

With this latest distribution, Morrill County’s own dividends from NIRMA have reached $166,473 in total since it joined in 2002. NIRMA issues dividends based on its strong financial standing, as aided by the members’ ongoing loss prevention efforts. This marks the 39th time since 1991 and the 30th consecutive year the program has been able to return funds.
