A couple of miscues by the Alliance defense led to a first inning run by the guests. In the home half of the inning, the Peltz Co responded with 3 runs to take a 2-run margin. An error by Buckley opened the spree with an RBI single by Israel Garcia ensuing, that tied the battle at 1. Alliance’s next tally came on a passed ball which made the score 2 to 1. Jayden Garcia was next and his single continued the inning. A fielder’s choice RBI finished off the frame with the Spartans ahead 3 to 1.
