A new face has joined the University of Nebraska -Lincoln’s Panhandle Research Extension and Education Center. Pam Hebbert was welcomed on July 8 as the center’s new Finance Specialist with the Greater Nebraska Business Center. She will facilitate the post-award financial activity for grants.
Hebbert has a BS in Economics from Iowa State University. She is new to the extension but not to the area, having worked in government, finance, and non-profit sectors. Hebbert was recently the Treasurer for the towns of Guernsey and Fort Laramie, Wyo., and Fiscal Officer for Head Start Programs at ESU 13.
Hebbert and her husband Matt have six adult children. “They keep us entertained with their chosen life pursuits.”
