NOTICE

This notification dated May 21, 2025 is to inform parents/guardians/former students of the Alliance Public School District’s intent to destroy the Special Education records of students who ended services during the 2019-2020 school year. After five years, the records are no longer useful to the district, but they may be useful to you in applying for Social Security benefits, rehab services, college entrance, etc. These records will be destroyed in accordance with state laws unless the parent/guardian or adult student notifies the school district otherwise. The parent/guardian or adult student may request a copy of the records in writing (or call) to the following address:

Requests for copies must be received within 45 days, on or before July 7, 2025. These records will be destroyed at the beginning of the next school year August 2025.
