NSP is seeking additional information regarding a crash that occurred Thursday in Scotts Bluff County. The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 92/W 20th Street and South Beltline Highway. The crash occurred when a truck-tractor/cattle-trailer and motorcycle were both attempting to turn southbound onto South Beltline from eastbound Highway 92. The cattle truck collided with the motorcycle rider while making the turn.
The cattle truck then left the scene. A second cattle truck stopped briefly, but also left the scene before authorities arrived. Another witness was able to render aid to the injured motorcycle rider. The rider was then transported to Regional West Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. NSP is asking anyone with information about the crash, or information about the cattle trucks to call the Nebraska State Patrol Troop E at 308-632-1211.
