This July, University of Nebraska President Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., is visiting communities across Nebraska to engage in conversations about the future of the university and how it can support a robust and thriving Nebraska.
The tour kicked off on July 10, with conversations with educational and community leaders in Norfolk. The tour continues July 21-25 with stops in Peru, Chadron and other communities throughout the state.
The 2025 tour builds upon a statewide trip Dr. Gold took in 2024, shortly after he began his role as the ninth president of the University of Nebraska.
“Over the past year, we have had wonderful conversations with Nebraskans from across the state, who shared how the university has impacted their lives, and how we can become even stronger in the future,” said Dr. Gold. “This summer, I am excited to continue those conversations as we write the next chapter of our University of Nebraska and grow the impact we have on all Nebraska.”
