One person was sent to the hospital to be treated for injuries following a two-vehicle accident on March 27.
According to Chief of Police John Kiss, on Friday at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Alliance Police Department and the Alliance Emergency Medical Services responded to a motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Toluca Ave and West 15th Street.
Alejandro Leal, 20, was northbound, driving a 2009 Pontiac G6, while Cassandra Barth, 30, was traveling west in a 2012 GMC Acadia. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
Barth was transported to Box Butte General Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Leal’s vehicle appeared to be totaled, Kiss said, and damage to Barth’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
The Alliance Police Department is still investigating the accident.
