Pool League Champions Crowned

Local poolplayers were recognized recently for winning the Fall Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues.

The Monday 9-Ball championship went to “The Dominators” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance including Bernardo Reza, Truen Henderson, De Holt-Vath, Juan Martinez, and Tony Gonzalez. Not shown are Jaz Henderson, Leta Lucero, and Nathan Grant.

Earning 9-Ball MVP honors were Jaz Henderson, Marshall Sheldon, and Doug Shimp.

Taking the Wednesday 8-Ball title was “Right on Cue” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance including Juan Martinez, Denielle Hogarth, Sergio Airada, Hope Hansen, John Corson, Misty Taylor, Ken Davis, and Chuck Taylor.

8-Ball MVP honors went to Denielle Hogarth, Kobe Giger, and Bernardo Reza.

Anita Olvera earned the Milestone Certificate for surpassing 500 matches played in the APA 8-Ball League.

The winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifiers to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
