The Panhandle Senior Women met up August 7th at Court House & Jail Rock Golf Course in Bridgeport for a beautiful day of golf. Thirty-six ladies took to the links for an exciting round of golf.
Placing first with a gross score of 74 and a net of 60.27 was the team of Jane Faber, Londa Maron, Jane Holechek and Norma Perkins.
The second place team of Marsha Neifert, Vicky Dimas, Lisa Racine, and Rose Jacoby turned in a gross score of 75 and netted out at 61.17.
Close behind in third place was the team of Judy Paradeis, Suzy Ernest, Penny Yekel, and Marsha Strauch. They also had a gross score of 75, and their net score was 61.98.
The team of Gina Briggs, Carole Lain, Terry Rajewich, and Carole Derr finished in fourth place with a gross score of 76 and a net score of 62.49.
The longest drives were won by Jane Faber (A player), Londa Maron (B player), Lisa Richardson (C player) and Norma Perkins (D player). The longest putt flag prizes were won by Gina Briggs, Lisa Racine, and Suzy Ernest. Closest to the pin from off the green prizes were won by Terry Espinoza, Ronda Roth, and Grace Brisby.
Our next event will be Monday, August 21st, at Scottsbluff Country Club. Lady golfers, at least 50 years of age with an active GHIN handicap, are welcome to join and play.
