Platte Valley Bank Community President Lewis Coulter of Bridgeport presented almost $5,000 to the Broadwater Volunteer Fire Department on December 27. at the Volunteer fire department address 12163 Rd 76 in Broadwater.
Broadwater Fire Department received grant funding from the America Rescue Plan Act with the State of Nebraska for $200,000. They are looking to raise another $120,000.
“We are thrilled to help support our local community and donate to this wonderful cause,” commented Lewis Coulter. “The Broadwater Volunteer Fire department has been an important part of Broadwater and surrounding communities since it was organized in 1952. We are happy to support their efforts to upgrade to a safer more efficient ambulance.”
