Randy R. Harms, 54, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home.
He was born January 5, 1967 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Harold D. and Arlene (Anderson) Harms.
Randy graduated from Elsie-Madrid High School in 1985. Following graduation he went on to work for Bosselman Travel Center and Truck Stops and also worked for a mail contractor hauling mail for the United States Postal Service. Later he went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad and eventually Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad where he worked as a Machinist.
On July 12, 1990 he was united in marriage with Sherri L. Stahl in Brighton, CO.
Randy was an avid Drag Racing fan and enjoyed watching it whenever he could. He also liked watching both college and NFL football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was a member of the Alliance Eagles Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Harms of Alliance; his sons, Zachery Harms of Alliance and Nicholas (Crystal) Harms of Wheatland, WY; and 2 grandsons, Izzykiel and Jonathan Harms. He is also survived by his brother, Leonard (Linda) Harms of Paxton, NE; his sisters, Norma Jean Kuskie of Grant, NE and Marsha Harms of Kansas; his father-in-law, Harry Stahl of Wisner, NE; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Larry.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Reverend Gary Belk will officiate. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
