Red Nest Wins Long Jump, Takes Second in 100 at Best of the West

Seven Alliance junior high boys track stars qualified for the best of the west meet held in Scottsbluff on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were lead by 8th grader Eddie Red Nest who won the long jump and placed second in the 100. Red Nest’s winning leap was 18’2 while his time of 11.8 was good for the silver. Alliance was third in the mile relay with a time of 4:04. Members were: Red Nest Casyn Nelson Kyler Hamel and Dixon Bair.

Overall, AMS scored 26 points.
