With graduation only being days away, Alliance High School Senior Riley Lawrence made a move for her future.
Lawrence signed a letter of intent with the University of Nebraska-Kearney on April 27, where she will be a Loper on the Cheerleading Squad.
“It was smaller than Lincoln and I enjoyed the campus,” said Lawrence on why she chose UNK.
Lawrence has been a cheerleader at Alliance High School for four years, where she had been a co-captain for two years and an All American in cheer.
Not only was Lawrence a Cheerleader but she was also a member of FBLA, Seventh Street Dance Studio, 4-H and The National Honor Society.
Lawrence also qualified for the Class B State Track and Field Meet in 2021, where she ran in the 4×400 Relay.
Riley Lawrence is the daughter of Heath and Shannon Lawrence.
