Robert G. “Bobby” Lehl, Jr., 68, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at his home.
He was born February 3, 1952 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Robert G. and Alvina M. (Bauer) Lehl.
While in high school, Bobby participated in 4-H, FFA, football, baseball and other activities. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1970. Following graduation, he began his career in farming which he enjoyed throughout his life. He enjoyed playing slow pitch softball as well as bowling and many other hobbies.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Lehl and Steve (Kris) Lehl; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; his mother, Alvina Lehl; his life partner, Melodie “Mel” Reeve; and his sister and brother-in-law, Judy (Evert) Smith, all of Alliance. He was preceded in death by his father, his brothers, Roger, Chuck and Jimmy Lehl, and his nephew, Roger Lehl, Jr.
Memorial services and inurnment in the Alliance Cemetery will be held at a later date.
