The Box Butte Development Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Hannah Robinson as its new executive director. Robinson will lead the non-profit organization’s efforts in economic development. Her first day was March 11.
Robinson brings a dynamic career history that will inform best practices for economic development in Box Butte County. Her professional journey began as the Marketing Director for the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance (LCBA), a combined Economic Development and Chamber of Commerce non-profit in Laramie, Wyoming. Subsequently, she served as the Senior Social Media Coordinator at Buckle, based at their headquarters in Kearney, Nebraska. Most recently, Robinson focused on business development and proposal coordination in Los Angeles, California.
Excited to return to her hometown of Alliance, Robinson is eager to apply her varied professional experiences and diverse view of economic and business development. She expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled to bring my passion for making connections and building communities to this position. I look forward to helping businesses in the region thrive and using my unique background in a way that benefits the community I was raised in.”
Robinson also acknowledged the work of the previous executive director, Chelsie Herian, saying, “I look forward to building upon the foundation laid by Chelsie Herian and collaborating with the board members.”
The Box Butte Development Corporation is a non-profit organization focusing on business development, talent attraction, and community affairs. Over the next three years, its strategic goals include supporting businesses in Box Butte County and bolstering these efforts with initiatives related to affordable housing and early childcare. The corporation is excited to welcome Robinson as she leads the charge toward achieving these goals.
