Rogelio Roger Gonzalez- 87 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on October 25, 1936, in Alliance, Nebraska, to the late Fernando Gonzalez and Patricinia Gonzalez. Rogelio enjoyed staying active with workouts, running, and excelling in handball and racket ball. He had a passion for watching old westerns and sitcoms. Rogelio proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kazuko Gonzalez; son, Rogelio Fernando Gonzalez; daughter, Laurie Ann Gonzalez; grandson, Gary McKenzie; brothers: Ed Gonzalez, Dick Gonzalez, Mick Gonzalez; sister, Rita Alvarado; brother, Ralph Gonzalez.
Survivors include daughters: Tracy Baker (Jerry) of Valdosta, Georgia, Sue Baker (Randy) of Ray City, Georgia, Bonnie Barrett (Jeff) of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren: Phillip, Amber, Christina, Raven, Anjel, Brandi, Alisha, Joey; several great grandchildren; sister, Linda Osborne (Gary) of Alliance, Nebraska; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
