Eighth Grade graduation was celebrated for the St. Agnes Academy on Friday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Class of 2025 had 15 members. Ceremonies began with mass with the graduates doing the readings and taking up the gifts.
After communion, each member then read their personal mission statements. The graduation part then began with a welcome from St. Agnes eighth grade sponsor Mark Glesinger and diplomas distributed. Special awards were then given out for the DAR history recognition and the American Legion citizenship accomplishments.
Winning the history award was Braden Myers while top citizens were Paxton Richey and Aubree Shrewsbury. Honorable mention went to Reese Armstrong and Phoenix Red Nest. The ceremony ended with a thank you by Reese, Aubree, and Gavin Mann and a graduates’ prayer given by Joe Collins.
