The Nebraska Hospital Association Research and Educational Foundation (NHAREF) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Graduate Studies Tuition Aid Program and the Undergraduate Health Care Career Scholarship Program. This year, the NHA, with support of their business partner, Medical Solutions, awarded Nebraska hospital employees with a record $100,000 in scholarships to help them further their education.
“The Nebraska Hospital Association recognizes the critical workforce shortage we continue to face in health care, commented Jeremy Nordquist, President of NHA. “These scholarship awards will have a real impact on recruiting and retaining health care workers to begin or continue their careers in this essential field. We also look to continue to grow this scholarship program to show our commitment and resolve to rebuilding a talented and educated workforce. In addition, we are grateful to the generosity of our trusted business partner, Medical Solutions, for helping us fund these scholarships.”
Madison Smith, of Alliance, with Box Butte General Hospital, received the Laura J. Redoutey Scholarship, worth $5,000.
