On Thursday, November 9, 2023 at approximately 11:55 AM, the Scottsbluff Police Department was dispatched to the 1500 Block of Broadway in reference to a vehicle versus building injury accident. Upon arrival officers observed a 2016 blue Ford Edge that had gone through the front window of 1507 Broadway.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as, Patricia King, 78, of Mitchell. It was determined that the Ford Edge Patricia was driving was pulling into a parking stall in the 1500 Block of Broadway when the vehicle went over the curb and struck the building. The building was unoccupied at the time of the collision. The building did not appear to have been structurally compromised. Patrica was transport to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance. The Scottsbluff Police Department was assisted by the Scottsbluff Fire Department and Valley Ambulance.
