On 10/11/25 at 14:47, Scottsbluff PD responded to an injury accident in the intersection of Hwy 26 and Ave B. The investigation found that a blue 1995 Honda motorcycle driven by Braxton Speicher, 19m of Scottsbluff was north bound on Ave B passing through the intersection when it was struck by an east bound black 2017 Ford Taurus driven by Karina Morales, 18f of Torrington, WY. It was determined Morales failed to stop for the red traffic signal for east bound traffic of Hwy 26. Speicher was transported via ambulance for minor leg injuries. Morales was issued a citation for the Traffic Signal Violation. The east bound lanes of the intersection were closed for approximately one hour. The motorcycle was a total loss and the Taurus has an estimated damage of $5,000. Scottsbluff Fire Department and Regional West Ambulance Services also responded to the accident.
