With May being Better Hearing and Speech month, Rock Valley Physical Therapy (for many years, Alliance Physical Therapy) would like to take this time to welcome two speech therapists to our practice. Rock Valley has continued to grow our PT services in the Panhandle community, including expanding into home health services for the past two years. Now, we are proud to offer speech therapy services at the clinic, including both in-person and telehealth services. Joining our team are two local residents of the area, Jenilee Woltman, M.S.Ed., CCC-SLP and Bobbie Moseman, M.S., CF-SLP. Both ladies have recently graduated from accredited Speech-Language Pathology programs and have been long time advocates of speech therapy from personal experiences involving their families.
Jenilee Woltman decided to go back to school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) after her daughter was unable to receive speech services, simply because there were not enough providers to meet the high demand of needed services. Jenilee received her Master of Education in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. She now loves to incorporate animals into her speech sessions as much as possible. Jenilee is very passionate about working with all age groups; however, she has extensive training in working with pediatrics. Jenilee brings tremendous clinical knowledge and experience for feeding and swallowing disorders, voice disorders, developmental speech-language delay or disorder, children who have experienced injury or illness that affects brain functioning, and communication disorders associated with cleft lip and palate. Jenilee is excited to help families achieve their communication goals and is pleased to offer services in person at Rock Valley and by teletherapy, allowing the patient to join their therapy session from the comfort of their own home.
Bobbie Moseman is now prepared to help others in a therapeutic capacity, working along side other health professionals, parents, caregivers, and teachers to provide patients with the best possible care. Bobbie received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Charon State College. Having completed her medical externship at Great Plains Health in North Platte, she gained experiences working with patients with many different conditions, including post-stroke, brain injuries, cognitive dysfunction, feeding and swallowing difficulties, and language deficits. She looks forward to continue her care for all ages of patients, and has goals of starting a geriatric group specific to Parkinson’s patients.
Rock Valley PT is now accepting patients for speech therapy services, from new born babes to great-grandparents. We continue to offer our PT services in the area as well. Call 762-6564 to learn more!
