Steven Dong Ho Park, age 70, of Alliance, NE, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Steven was born on January 3, 1955, in Manhattan, NY, to Stanley Park and May Naito. He grew up in California and graduated from Warren High School in Downey in 1971, where he was a member of the wrestling team and the varsity basketball team. After high school, he attended Saddleback College, where he continued playing basketball and earned an associate degree in sociology.
In 1984, Steven married Linda Woods, and together they had four children. In the mid-1990s, he made a career change and moved to Alliance, NE, where he worked as an engineer for BNSF Railway for 27 years.
Steven was a devoted sports fan, especially passionate about basketball, and enjoyed spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his four children:
• Stephanie Peacock (Jeffrey) of House, NM
• Harvey Park of Clovis, NM
• Kevin Park (Samantha) of Baltimore, MD
• Allison Park (Jared Bradford) of Clovis, NM
He also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Harvey Peacock, Rozillyn Peacock, Parker Peacock, Divina Park, Winter Park, Harvey Park Jr., Eliseo Park, and Benjamin Bradford.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Park and May Naito Park, and his wife, Linda Woods.
Cremation has taken place, and no services are scheduled at this time.
