Steven R. Oliver, 42, died Friday, June 19, 2020 at Box Butte General Hospital.
He was born August 18, 1977 in Douglas, Wyoming to Chester M. and Debra E. (Fleck) Oliver.
Steven truly lived life to the fullest, in every way possible. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He also enjoyed going fishing, shooting guns, and being the life of the party, literally. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He had a huge love for babies, kids, and little kitties. We could always tell when Steven was around, the babies’ cheeks were always red and chapped from being sucked on by “Uncle Stebe” and the kitties heads would be stiff and spiked from him. Steven never met a stranger; he wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved everyone from every walk of life. He will be remembered by all as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Debra (Fleck) Lindburg of Alliance; his father, Chester “Chet” Oliver of Newcastle, WY; and his sisters, Amber (Forrest) Benge and Kassidy Oliver, all of Alliance. He is also survived by his niece, Whitney (Matt) Pinneo of Alliance; his nephews, Derek Morrison, Tyler Johnson and Kenadi Rising, all of Alliance and Trevor Benge and Tanner Benge of Kearney, NE; his great niece, Tinlee Morrison of Alliance; his great nephew, Kaysen Pinneo of Alliance; and his grandmother, LaQuetta Oliver of Guernsey, WY.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Oliver and his good friend, Marty Wilson.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private family memorial services will be held at the Bates-Gould Chapel with Dodi Megli as speaker.
