This week marks the beginning of registration for the 2021 APL Summer Reading Program for Children, Tales and Tails. We are excited to say that the program will be back to a regular format this year, with weekly prizes and programming. This year we have created a short PowerPoint presentation to explain the program details, which can be accessed through our Facebook page or in the library. Registration will be open throughout the duration of the program, with the first weekly prize deadline being Friday, May 28! The week 1 prize for the kids will be a coupon for a free kid’s meal from Arbys.
The Alliance Public Library Foundation is sponsoring some great prizes this year. To be eligible for one of the grand prizes, students need to complete all five weeks of the program. Again, week one ends May 28, and the last week of the program ends Friday, June 25. This year’s programming includes Magician Jeff Quinn, the APD with their K-9 officer, and the Riverside Discovery Center. We are excited to welcome everyone for a fun-filled reading adventure this summer. Registration can be done anytime during library hours.
