Terrance Maurice Christensen Sr., age 72, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at his home in Athens, AL. He was born on June 20, 1950 in Alameda, CA, & grew up in Gallup, NM. He worked as a mechanical engineer for BNSF Railroad while Eveonne taught at AHS. They loved the history, geography, & their many friends in Alliance.
Terry suffered for several years with FTD, a rare, incurable brain disease. He was known for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, & ability to fix things. He loved Mexican food, Dr. Pepper, & working in his garden. His favorite activities were attending all his children’s sporting, scouting, musical, & theatrical events. He was Scoutmaster for many years in Oak Ridge & Alliance. He was an Eagle Scout & helped his sons achieve the same rank. He lived to make his beloved wife, Eveonne, happy. He loved the Savior Jesus Christ, served a full time mission in Peru, & was a faithful, lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eveonne, 5 children: Morey, Amy, Rachel, Travis, & Melinda, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, & many nieces & nephews.
