After World War II there were still Japanese soldiers out in Pacific Islands that never got word that the war had ended or maybe some chose not to believe it?
They stayed dug in and were on constant guard for anything that threatened them. Are some of us Americans unaware that the war on salvation is over? Are we still dug in and running scared. Are we afraid of what the enemy will do to us?
Maybe we have been dug in so long that we are not aware of who the real enemy is? Christ defeated sin, death, and the devil on the cross and we are free to live apart from the guilt, shame, discontent, etc., that we receive from living in our sinful natures.
The war is over for your soul, if you believe in Jesus you are saved by grace not by merit and you are free to love others. Hang them old weapons up they are no longer needed, blame, denial, unbelief, being easily offended, etc.
God does love you and does not want you stranded on an island with no hope in sight. He wants you saved all because He loves you. You are precious in His sight.
