Tom married his wife, Deb (Jorgensen), on May 4, 1992 in Honolulu, Hawaii. They spent most of their lives in Alliance surrounded by many friends and family. In 2016 Tom and Deb relocated to Kearney, Missouri where they enjoyed retirement and spending time with their grandchildren. They bought a home on a small golf course where Tom spent many days collecting lost golf balls, which soon became an obsession!
Tom loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with others. Anything that kept him outdoors was where he wanted to be, he loved all the seasons Nebraska had to offer.
