The Alliance St. Agnes track record board will have 3 new additions following the Crusader’s performance at the Best of the West meet held in Scottsbluff on Tuesday. Both the boy’s and girl’s pole vault records were broken while Kimber Freiberger broke her own record in the mile. Freiberger finished second with a time of 6:01 in the mile and smashed her old record of 6:17. In the pole vault Reese Armstrong was the winner with a vault of 8’6 which broke the school record held by Armstrong and Kenley Jelinek at 7’6. Coy Childers was a third place finisher in the boys pole vault with a leap of 10’0. Childers had the record previously at 9’6. A total of 11 athletes from the Academy took part in the event with 5 girls and 6 boys qualifying.
